Muruca is developed by people who work in both research institutions and private companies.
Even though it is a fully Open Source project, you need not to worry about discontinued support. Muruca is coordinated and supported by Net7 - Internet Open Solutions - a european SME, which offers custom development, consulting and training on Muruca to its clients.
Muruca is also supported by the A-32 Open Scholarly Communities COST Action which groups together many European research institutions.
